Wind Star
Capture the essence of small ship sailing on Wind Star. She is a sleek, 4 masted sailing ship accommodating only 148 guests. Enjoy the feeling of being on your own private ship with the amenities of a larger ship. All staterooms feature ocean views, queen beds, flat screen televisions and a Bose SoundDock for connecting music devices. One of the ship’s most unique features is the open air sports platform equipped with sailboards, snorkeling gear, water skis, sailboats and kayaks. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the spa with regional spa treatments, including massage styles like Swedish, Japanese Shiatsu and Hawaiian Lomi Lomi. Public areas are cozy and sophisticated, done in natural fabrics and polished woods. Both main restaurants feature open seating. AmphorA serves up gourmet specialties course by course, while the Veranda offers casual al fresco bites. The ship is intimate, just four decks high, and is equipped with a piano bar and lounge for evening entertainment. And due to the Wind Star’s small size, passengers are always welcome to stop by the bridge to chat with officers and learn how the computer-operated sails work.
